Prasthanam to be remade in Tamil

Deva Katta’s critically acclaimed film Prasthanam will be remade in Tamil. This news was broken by the director on his twitter profile. Although, no further details about the cast, crew has been revealed, Deva Katta was quite elated about the project. He’s currently working on his third film titled ‘Autonagar Surya’ which will go on floors very soon. An official announcement is expected to be made on the film in few days. And the Tamil remake would go on floors only after the completion of Autonagar Surya.

Prasthanam, starring Sharwanand, Saikumar and Sundeep Kishnan, is a story of egos and hunger for power in a family. The hard hitting storyline and incredible performances made it one of the most talked about films of 2010. Let’s hope, Deva Katta strikes the chord with Tamil audiences as well with Prasthanam.
