A R Rahman has once again made India proud at one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the world, the Grammys! The Grammys awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles earlier today. A R Rahman won two Grammys for the 2009 Oscar winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. He won the awards for Best Motion picture song “Jai Ho” and Best Soundtrack for a Motion picture. For the soundtrack ‘Jai Ho’, he shared the Grammy with Gulzar, the lyricist and Tanvi Shah who wrote the Spanish lyrics in the film. This is the 52nd edition of the annual Grammy awards ceremony. Zakir Hussain and Amjad Ali Khan were also nominated for Grammys this time.
