Leader delayed due to Financial problems
According to sources in Film Nagar, Rana's debut movie Leader has costed over 17 crores. Initially when AVM planned to produce this movie, the budget for the movie was 12 crores but later the budget has shot up by 5 crores. It is heard that the movie doesnt have the potential to recover 17 crores as Shekar Kammula is a class director and Rana is a new comer. Though AVM is a big banner, they feel that it doesnot make any business sense to release a movie with loss. AVM definitely feels that Suresh Productions also should share the responsibility of the release of the movie and AVM is expecting RANA to return back the remuneration of One crore which he charged for this movie. Hope all the issues get sorted out soon so that we can enjoy a clean entertainer from Shekar Kammula soon.
